One of the three Great Pyramids at Giza. Over 2 million limestone blocks weighing 2-15 tons each, 150,000 people worked on them plus the 9 "minor" pyramids in the area. All for the second life of one king and his family.
The blocks were enormous but fit together very intricately.

This is the only pyramid that has some of the granite covering remaining. All the other granite has been carted off over the millennia.
We think they "reassembled" this small section on the smallest of the three pyramids. These granite blocks are huge as well, cut to fit precisely in the limestone block grid below it.
